Welcome to the Bangor University Music Society website
This is the place to find all the latest news, photos, recordings, and many other updates. As a society we welcome new members of all different abilities all year round, so come along to one of our rehearsals and join in.
We run a weekly choir and orchestra for over 100 members, which are both open to all, for more information just click here. The society is run entirely by students at Bangor University; both the choir and orchestra are conducted by students. Our main aim is to have fun, so we don’t audition and don’t have a minimum standard, just a willingness to have a good time and enjoy some great music (and perhaps a drink in the pub after).
Bangor University Music Society offers the chance to make music at a high standard twice a week whilst having a lot of fun and forming friendships that often last a lifetime. We perform a wide range of music from popular to classical, and even premiers and student compositions.
