Mozart Requiem…

Event Confirmed!!!!

Mozart’s Requiem From Scratch’

An exciting project for the MuSoc Calendar in September!

On Sunday 26th September, as part of the Music Societies Freshers’ Week activities, there will be an open rehearsal for all students new and old, music and non music students to put together Mozart’s Requiem “from Scratch!” Whatever your experience or ability you are welcome to come and join the musicians of Bangor University to put together W.A. Mozart’s final, and arguably greatest work for Choir and Orchestra.

This will be a great opportunity for freshers and existing students to come along and make new friends, find out about the Music Society, and have some fun at the same time!

Confirmed Details:
Sunday 26th September 2010
PJ Hall, Main Arts
Daytime rehearsals from 10am-4:30pm (including lunch and tea breaks)

Concert @ 7:30pm

New website

Dear all,You may have noticed that the musoc website has changed recently! and is currently under a state of construction, however it is nearing completion! If you have any suggestions as to what should go up there or something you would like to see please send them in!

You will also have received an email from Jamie regarding positions for next years committee, I think the webmaster position is one of the best as not only do you get to attend committee meetings but you also have a fun website to play with!!

If you are interested in the position, please could I ask that you contact me ASAP (either here or 07738 880276) whilst the musoc domain is much easier to control than before it is definitely a good idea to have a look round before you take over!

Hope all is well
Best wishes
Peter
